LT Fall2017Our Spring 2017 worship series was on Healing and Reconciliation with ourselves, with others, and with God. See the five steps of Reconciliation that Gloria Shantz used in the children’s time of these services, on page 7.

Also read the reports of the Youth trip to Timmins to share in their experience and read some ideas for reconciliation with our First

Nations by Lori Martin. As part of this reconciliation focus, some of us watched the movie “Reserve 107” about an interesting approach to this in Alberta. In addition, some of us went to see the play “Ipperwash” at Blyth about First Nation land expropriation in Ontario. It was great to have these ways to continue to understand and respond to real issues of injustice and the need for reconciliation in our own backyard. What
is one thing you are called to as a response?

Wendy brings these themes and our summer focus on birds together in her Pastor’s Pen article, while Madeline Weber reflects on her transition to University the past two years.
Enjoy the read and of course the photos of the many events and activities we shared together this spring and summer. Thanks to Shirley Robinson who joined the Life Together team to create the centre spread of photographs.
