A series of stimulating presentations about travel, service, experiential, theological and personal journeys people in our congregation have taken.
7:00 PM Sunday evenings this fall and winter :
● October 1: Trevor Bauman and Stew and Karen Sauder will share their service journey with Mennonite Disaster Service in Cape Breton Island.
● October 22: David Frey will share his travel journeys to Antarctica and the Canadian Arctic with photos and stories.
● Friday, November 10: Theatre of the Beat will present I Love You and It Hurts at SJMC, three short drama journeys about signs of abuse in relationships. They address elder abuse, healthy masculinity, and intimate partner violence in youth (16-25).
● November 19: Leah Boehm will share her journey through dementia and/or Alzheimerʼs with a loved one. Leah traveled this journey for several years with spouse John.
● December 3: Brent Horst will share what he has experienced and learned through volunteering.
More stimulating journeys are being planned for winter and spring of 2024.
